Adam n Lukas, as many of “my couples” are Polish, as me.
They contacted me if I could photograph their elopement, as the full wedding will be held in Poland with their families. I couldn’t say no to that!
Their day was spent with a group of close friends, and they are so kind, that they even invited my partner, so we both could stay and enjoy the meal with them. My heart melted!
Ceremony
Their preparation was very casual, they got ready together. It was the last morning that they spent not being married. Every decision, every detail was very well thought through. They took their time, they enjoyed the process. And the ceremony? The location was absolutely stunning, Had to take panorama photos and stitch the images afterwards to do justice of that view!
And the fire pit completed the look. Now I think of it - it really resemble the look of our polish mountains. Based on their outfit - I think the place was carefully selected. Absolutely love it.
When the time came for their personal vows - I don’t think anyone was left without tears in their eyes. Being in a gay relationship is not easy. And the whole journey they went through - from discovering their sexuality, through being laughed at and punished for who they are, finding the right partner - to now - being able to stand together and declare love to each other : It’s truly special.

Portrait session and the dinner
With that view in front of our eyes, we didn’t have to go far. Every spot was just stunning. My role was not to make them do things that don’t feel like them, standard ‘poses’ from a Pinterest gallery. We leaned towards who they are. Very emotional and affectionate couple, with a romantic twist. I just simply let them be them.
After that we sat to a dinner that - WAIT FOR IT - Adam made himself! He was cooking for the last 2 days and it was absolutely delicious!
He could skip on our traditional ‘village table’ with the best food ever.
Man, thank you so much for your hospitality! You two are absolutely stunning people!
