As a wedding photographer from Sydney, I love open space venues.
Cecylia and Matthew picked the beautiful Seacliff House for the backdrop of their wedding. It was my first time in this location, absolutely loved it!
Getting Ready
As everything was in one place, the whole day was relaxed, smooth, and everyone just simply enjoyed it.
No rush, no panicking because the cars are already here, no “how’s the traffic”.
Morning swim in the pool, chill preparation, a glass of whisky. What do you want more from life? :D
The Blessing
The blessing in Polish culture is an important part of the wedding day.
It’s the moment when the parents let their kids go, to start their own future. Their life and their family.
Ceremony
When I saw the colour palette - Green background, white chairs and arbor, and the red flowers - my photography soul was happy :D
It was just beautiful.
And their personal vows left everyone in tears. They have already proven that they are together ‘in sickness and in health’, the ceremony was just a formality at this point. They support each other every day, and show their love not only in words, but in their actions too. Well done guys!
The Cocktail hour, wishes and kisses.
As you can see, everything was like from a movie. cocktail tower, grazing table, the views. All with their closest friends and family.
Portrait Session
We absolutely had to incorporate and utilise that absolutely stunning location in the composition.
The green hills, the red flowers, the cocktail cart, that stunning villa with mix of wood and dark steel.
And their love in the middle of all of it. We had our engagement session earlier on in Sydney, so we knew exactly how to work together :) no posing, just gentle direction.
Reception
I think we all had a great time. Every detail was carefully designed and organized. The setup, the place, the cake! And it had this relaxed, family holiday vibe. I can’t explain that, even me being there I felt like I’m part of the group, like I’m a guest. It was truly a special day.
